We'll be either 15 or 16 in the SEC tourney, it appears. Tough to make a run playing possibly five games in five days

I would be surprised if we played three games.

We are 8-0. Good enough for a top seed in the “almost got em” tournament.

LSU has five regular-season games left:
Saturday, vs Alabama
Wednesday 2/25, at Ole Miss
Saturday 2/28, vs Oklahoma
Tuesday 3/3, at Auburn
Saturday 3/7, vs Texas A&M

ESPN Analytics shows LSU favored only against Oklahoma.

Assuming LSU goes 1-4 in these five games, it would enter the SEC Tournament at 15-16 (3-15 in the conference). Unless they win the tournament for the first time since 1980, there isn't going to be a postseason for this team.

If LSU goes 1-4 in its last five games, McMahon will finish 17-55 in the SEC in four seasons (.208 winning percentage).

I think we go on a minirun the last four games, beating Oklahoma, Old Miss, Auburn and the Aggies and maybe win a game in SEC. Would that get the Tigers in?

I need proof so I can keep watching. I didn’t last night and haven’t since Georgia.

LSU's "at large" chances, for all intents and purposes, ended last night with their 11th conf. loss. Even if they were somehow able to win the next 5 (they won't) there would not be enough "meat" on the resume to get them in.

I want the team to win some, hell, all of the remaining games. Practicing, showing up to an empty home arena for a game, and losing constantly sucks. The only caveat being I don't want them to win too much that it somehow convinces anyone with personnel authority that MM should be the HC for next year. That ship has long sailed. In a macabre way, the only "suspense" left is just how low MM can go with his SEC winning %.

Those who continue to say Hallman was the worst HC in LSU history (or at least recent history) I don't think fully grasp just how bad McMahon has been. Mostly because they follow football much more than basketball.

LSU MBB is non- existent at this point, until a change is made. Yawn.
