The gimmies that make up the Left’s voting base just can’t comprehend why all these billionaires can’t just be forced to take care of everyone.
So all that utopian free stuff has to come from somewhere.

If i ever find myself homeless and jobless, i’ll just move to the most expensive city in the US to get it all for free.

The Chicago Teachers Union keeps posting about "holding billionaires responsible". I did the math. There are something like 15 billionaires within city limits, worth something like $50bn. The city of Chicago's budget annualy is $16bn. In other words, if you take everything those billionaires have, liquify it, and pay the entire budget, this lasts for maybe 3-4 years until those people are flat broke.
Of course one of those billionaires is a Walton heir, worth $20b, so he will probably scamper back to Arkansas leaving the total at $30b, and now there is two years of funding. Pretty soon many of them have left (Ken Griffin is long gone, as are quite a few others).
To show how silly this all is, a guy I know had a $2m condo downtown. The taxes were so egregious that he walked away from it for something like $700 just to get out. It was worth a $1.3m loss to get away from the tax structure there...

Leftists have a literal cartoon sense of wealth.
They legitimately think Jeff Bezos has infinite money.

I believe this is the Democrats socialist plan. Force the liquidation of private assets so they can redistribute through the socialist greasy palms.

Is this all you have to do right now?
I’m really curious about this.
Do you get paid to do this?

Is what all I have to do? Make a post? You’re posting on here too.

It’s refreshing to see a politician point to some actual numbers and explain what must be done.
It’s 2026, everything should work this way.

The reality is that the incoming mayor inherited a huge deficit. But the issue is, how does he deal with it…

stealing more from the most over-taxed Americans in the Union?
how about cutting something? eliminating waste and fraud? why are the dem socialists NEVER proposing this?
