Inside Dem Socialists’ extreme plan for Los Angeles — seizing property, replacing cops and closing jails

A radical left-wing group in Los Angeles has published a shocking 40-page roadmap to transform the nation’s second-largest city into a bizarre socialist experiment.

The Democratic Socialists of America’s LA chapter wants to straight-up seize private property through a “creative use of eminent domain,” take control of your neighborhood grocery store, and replace cops with unarmed social workers while shutting down jails.

Their Communist fever dream wishlist includes banning Airbnbs, grabbing golf courses for public housing, allowing noncitizen immigrants to vote in local elections, enforce a school curriculum that supports social justice, and eliminating all fossil fuel use by 2035.

A non-exhaustive but rather exhausting list of just some of their demands is below:

Build a wall and let them have it. One can go in but no one comes out.

Honestly, I don’t have a huge issue with limiting airbnbs or replacing many public golf courses with higher density housing as ways to ease a serious housing shortage. However, I would start, first, by scaling back Southern California’s draconian zoning laws that make increasing housing stock prohibitively expensive.

Sad thing is, Spencer Pratt doesn't stand a shot in the Mayoral race.

If anyone had functioning brains in LA, he'd be leading.

This is what they want to do across the entire country. Thankfully Trump beat Clinton and that was averted.

I support your comrades doing this in L.A. That place deserves this sort of shite even more than NYC does. We should build a wall around the motherfricker and ban anyone inside from moving to any conservative areas.

GOOD!
They should do it.
That's the beauty of our system. Locally elected nitwits can try new things. Elections have consequences.

Honestly, if there was a way to contain it to LA, I'll tell them to knock themselves out. Go get you some.

This is the most underrated part of the whole plan. The oil fields under LA city produce 11 million barrels of oil a year.

I say go for it. But not until after it is walled off so that they're forced to live with it.

If that's what those idiots in that city want... I'm 100 percent all in on that. Anytime a city full of leftists want to stick a fork in the electrical socket.. I'm 110 percent for it.

Look at all those permits that have been issued in Malibu after the fires! One property has begun foundation work. Why? Because the homeowners will eventually give up and LA can repurpose all of those rich people's homes for affordable housing. How can they do this? You can't rebuild on your existing foundation (Adam Carolla detailed the ingenious ways LA and the coastal commission are forcing people to upgrade foundations, etc. at a huge cost increase) so eventually you give up. Or the Chinese buy the lots. Either way, rich (mostly) whitey isn't on the beach any more. Mission accomplished.
