Kept hearing about the cultural impact of Bad Bunny. It ignores many past entertainers…

Who have either headlined or been a part of the halftime show - many with Puerto Rican ancestry.

It includes (with a simple search), Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Arturo Sandoval, Gloria Estefan, (and the Miami Sound Machine once), and many more.

Btw, Shakira sang in both languages briefly as well.

The last couple of weeks was just the NFL and the msm pushing a purely false narrative.

For what reason? I don’t know. It makes zero sense other than thinking this would somehow be anti-Trump. If so, for whatever reason, it didn’t work.

Because people will give this giant commercial mindfrick more importance if they think they're witnessing some great historical moment. They're also catering to what they see as the most rapidly growing market, latinos.

NFL owners need to get a handle on this woke shite the commissioner is rolling out.

What would Jim Thorpe think? Native American, 1st President of the APFA later to become the NFL. The HOF is in Canton Ohio because Thorpe was playing for the Canton Bulldogs when established. What would Thorpe think about some all Spanish Puerto Rican led half time show?

People watching that show were probably soccer fans anyway. There's your cultural impact.

This halftime show, IMO, was a degradation of Hispanic culture. It looked like 16 year old hookers dancing with a guy that had a fake “bump” in his pants. I’d be highly insulted if I were Hispanic

There was nothing profound about it. It was just a show.

135m views vs roughly 20m. I’d say one supersedes the other.

Well, the 135M were already tuned in the game, or at least most of them. A bunch of them might have walked away until the game returned. In that view, we might come up with a *negative* number of views?

The 20M had to make a conscious decision to find where the TPUSA show was playing, and switch over. Tough to compare, but it sure ain't 1:1.

But you have to start with tepid water and bring it to a boil slowly. So, I don't see your point.

So 20+ million football viewers voluntarily switched over to watch another show?

If I’m an advertiser (who had an ad built around that show) who paid millions and I lost 20+ million viewers (to those who just happened to know HOW to switch over btw), I’d want some of my money back.

I’d like to know how many of those millions switched over to something else when the show was unwatchable.

What? The NFL and msm haven’t pushed any narrative other than announce who was performing,
I
Hysterical conservatives are the ones who have raised holy hell and attracted the most attention. The same thing happened with the trans bud lBud Llite ad that most of us knew nothing about
Until the o mostly online right wing rage…

Is it even remotely possible that he was picked because he's the #1 streaming artist currently? I don't like the guys music and I didn't care to watch the show or even the game for that matter, but I don't think it's crazy to hire the #1 artist to play the halftime show.
