Does it seem like the hype and anticipation for this Super Bowl is less this year?

Super Bowl has turned into a social media influencer event.

NFL really just wants $$$ and doesn’t care about the fans that made the sport what it is.

I’m playing golf Sunday.

1. People are tired of NE and their success
2. Seattle is a shite-arse franchise to root for
3. No star power QB

Genuinely couldn’t tell you when I watched an entire NFL, MLB, NBA game. Got better things to do than watch commercials for 3 hours.

I'll enter a lineup in the DraftKings captains' mode for this game and once that craps out so will my interest.

Although the 4.5 point line suggests it won't be a boring game.

or maybe it's all a grab?

I think the Patriots suck for real. They beat the Saints 25-19 at the Dome while Rattler was still at QB. The Pats are a boring arse team that could very win a boring arse game.

Super Bowl commercials are on the internet already. Not sure how that impacts the average non-sports fan viewer, but I feel like it does.

Yes.

Just not much star power or interesting story lines. If Nix had been healthy and the Broncos had won, I think it would be a little more intriguing.

The Super Bowl hasn't felt like the "Super Bowl" in about 15 years. About when they changed the logos to all look the same is when the feels changed IMO

Roger Goodell is just the fricking worst. Look at the beautiful logos we had.

I’ve got 2 lineups I really like, usually I can’t even come up with a captain mode lineup to even bother entering

Spot on here. The international games are just more proof the NFL is all about giving the fans the finger to attract casual fans who dont give a frick about the sport.

Even with the uninspired logo used this year, they had the perfect opportunity to make the Golden Gate Bridge the trophy base in the middle with the football on top, if they insist on that trophy silhouette.

Looks like they’ve given up and just use Canva now.

I once joked to someone in high school, "The Saints will finally win the Super Bowl when it's the last Super Bowl played." What I didn't know at the time was that it was the last Super Bowl with a proper damn logo.

Honestly the only part I’ll probably watch will be Bad Bunny’s half time show. He’s the only real talent that will step on that field.
