Combined. Just today, Elon tweeted something like "It's true, Money doesn't buy you happiness. Musk is a sociopath.

And Tesla paid $0 in taxes in 2025.

Don't bitch at Tesla or Musk, call your representative.

The elementary school teachers should have banded together and created a reusable rocket over their summers

What about all the employees income tax, property tax for facilities, and sales tax generates from vehicle sales?

The government is getting their pork. Also they want EVs, he made one that works. They want to get people and material to space, he is providing them that for much less than it would cost them (tax $) to do themselves.

How about he uses some of that to pay off the debt for high performing teachers who still carry debt. They would still be required to pay it off just at a 0% interest. Show of good faith that I personally think could carry a ton of weight.

Did Tesla pay Social security and medicare taxes? Did the employees pay income taxes? Did their employees pay for gas to get to work that pays tax? Did their employees live in a home that has property tax?

But hey, lets just not have tesla at all?

But that tax savings is going to fund his Ketamine habit.

Teachers should learn if they want to make money they can’t be subsidized for life. Free education, work in a tax paid facility, don’t pay into social security, early retirement all at the hands of tax payers.

Better tax them more. There is certainly no way that taxes on the rich would ever be passed down to us. Besides, there would be no way our government would ever allow loopholes for these guys.

And? Most public school teacher salaries are based on tax revenue from the municipality and/or parish/county with some help from the state and maybe a little cash from some grants (both government and private) now and then. It’s up to the municipality/parish/county elected officials to make the business moves to create an environment that lets tax revenue pay teachers more for the most part.

Unless of course they want to move to a system where the federal government sets salaries and all bonus compensation for all public education workers across the county and therefore would be at the whim of which ever elected officials were in office and the policy they wanted to enact.

Elon musk has done more to protect the first amendment and free speech by purchasing Twitter than all of these teachers combine as well.

What price do you put on that?
