Would gladly pay more taxes to boost their pay even more.

Many of them are pulling around or over $200k

For reference that is double the avg Louisiana lawyer salary.

There is no way this is true - that these guys are making $200k per year

Mercenaries can make a lot of money under the right regime. Do they get extra for bullets fired or American citizens murdered?

Whatever they're paying those brave ICE Agents.........it's not enough.

I hear reports they killed a border agent on the Canadian border.

God Bless'um. He died serving us.

Trump / Vance 2026 - They're on our side.

If they travel they most likely get paid a handsome per diem daily maybe $200.00.

Plus a lot of OT and hazard pay.

But 200k is probably a stretch

I think a typical agent makes about 59k to start, but with OT, hazard pay, per diem, etc. it would likely exceed 80k. And that's for a "rookie". Some probably do make well over 100k. The job I applied for was a GS-15 position that came in at well over 100k to start, but I was turned down due to hearing loss.

Ah, we're doing operator/welder accounting to get there. Now it makes more sense.

It’s not much of a stretch. They’re getting massive hazard pay being deployed in Minneapolis

Why is the average Louisiana lawyer salary sub 100k?

Law school loans for that putrid salary

Gaucho already posted in this thread, and yet you still callously use this anti-weldite rhetoric?

There's always been a big disparity in lawyer pay.

But ICE guys start at around 50 -55K a year

Deportation Agents make about 85K

They top out if they make it to GS 15 at around 155 -165.....but those guys don't touch the field at that level.

I’m interested in a compare and contrast analysis with communist protestor pay. (To should include bureaucratic duties, post-incident reports, etc.)
