I certainly am not OK with states inflating their federal funding by letting in more illegals. If they want to be a sanctuary state, they'll have to do it with their own money.

They would throw illegal aliens out so fast, your head would spin. Their support for illegal aliens is all about political power and congressional seats

The U.S. Constitution empowers the Congress to carry out the census in "such manner as they shall by Law direct" (Article I, Section 2).
Thus, this would be Congress directing the conduct of the Census by law.

You are correct. You can't compromise for a number of reasons. First, you cannot trust them and they will violate the deal as soon as they have the power to do so. Second, the presence of illegals, whether there is apportionment or not, will result in illegal votes - full stop. IDGAF what liberals say, illegals are voting. The obvious one is the law. Either we have immigration laws or we don't - there can be zero semi-enforced or selectively enforced laws in this country.

They won’t settle for anything less than open borders. The country is lost. As soon as Trump leaves office, the race to destruction will be under way. Our choice will be accept whatever the regime allows or go to a new home and start over.
