So one was heavier and one was lighter than the advertised weight?

Wouldn't they both be listed as over actual weight? Why would one be off?

Unless they are using different scales and one is calibrated under and one is over

I want in on the class action lawsuit

My wife has me picking up mobile orders there multiple times a month. I hate when she does that cuz the produce they pick out is almost always the crappiest they can find too

To go grocery shopping?

Dude didn’t do anything but highlight an issue that potentially could affect hundreds of thousands of people and they don’t even realize it.

Not like he caused a huge scene or anything.

Customers switching labels.

Not uncommon and the only thing stores can do to mitigate is try to keep weights uniform.

99% of the Packages of meat aren’t weighed and priced in the store. They come priced from the distributor. It’s not like workers in the store are trying to get one over on all those customers, they don’t have anything to do with it. If you ask one to take it, weigh it, and put an accurate label on it, they will. It’s not a big deal.

Seems like shitty/not followed calibration/tare procedures than a nefarious plot.

Walmart doesn’t weigh any meat besides your deli meat. All meat on the shelves comes pre-weighed.

Usually the Department of Agriculture for a state is responsible for weights an measures in grocery stores. He should call them.

Managers response: "So we pay shite wages to save you money and as a result the workers we get are shite. They print the same label 20 times and stick it to 20 different packages.

We killed the local butcher by undercutting him and destroying his business.

Now you are at our mercy, so what do you want me to do?"

I never buy any type of meat from walmerk.

20 years ago I bought some ground beef from them and opened it at home and it was black on the bottom.

Never again.
