We’ve been blessed with a ton of talent this century, but who’s your favorite player that no one talks about?

Mine is Danny Etling. After years of abysmal QB play (outside of Matt), Etling brought some stability before Burrow.

He wasn’t a world beater by any means. But dammit he was tough as nails.

Les Miles era featured some really good Fullbacks. Goes to show how unsung they were when I can't remember names.

Brandon Taylor was the number 18 but I still feel like he didn’t get enough love

Was behind Claiborne and Mathieu on the depth chart but still balled out and made his presence felt every game.

Davon Godcheaux. Was never a true wrecking ball but a really good DT that was a true Tiger

He was unsung in 2001 but well-known in 2003.

Matt Mauck in 2001 SECCG before the 2003 NC.

Also, Travis “I play for the name on my helmet not the name on my jersey” Daniels. Burned his redshirt in that 2001 SECCG to help the team win.

I don't know how "unsung", or "sung" he actually was, but... Austin Deculus. His presence on the line made Danny Etling look like a decent QB and enabled Burreaux to become the superstar that he was.
