Late hit on Pickett out of bounds, late hit on Leavitt after pass. No call on either one.
re: what happened to direct snap

No need to hide it LOL—we already used it 5-6 times last game
GET IN WILDCAT & DIRECT SNAP!
Posted by Little Woods on 9/12/26 at 8:28 pm
We've lost 2 yards in 2 plays handing it off in shotgun and pistol!
Where has direct snap to Jones on goal line been at?
Posted by Little Woods on 9/12/26 at 8:20 pm
We had plenty of success with it last game other than Stacy Gage not catching the snap. We should've tried it at least once instead of those god awful pistol handoffs.
re: What were the five best LSU teams ever/in your lifetime?

1. 2019
2. 2011
3. 2003
4. 2007
5. 2010
I think the 2010 team is overlooked a lot, that team was absolutely loaded. Basically was 2011 team plus Patrick Peterson, Kelvin Sheppard, Drake Nevis, Stevan Ridley, and Joe Barksdale. Talent wise they were up there.

Ron Brooks
Was behind Claiborne and Mathieu on the depth chart but still balled out and made his presence felt every game.

He has some nice plays and good hands, not to mention he shared the field with Coleman and Simmons. I'm not saying break the bank for him but I'd take him—guess that’s why I'm not in charge.. lol
Perry Thompson
Posted by Little Woods on 12/29/25 at 10:27 pm
Thompson was a 5 Star WR at one point in high school, not sure why the lack of production at Auburn, but he has the intangibles at 6'3" 222 lbs and 4.45 40. The few receptions he does have are nice. Probably a cheaper price tag than Coleman as well. Wouldn't hurt to give this kid a look.

It would honestly be cool to see how much money actual TD members raise together alone
re: What LSU players that transferred out over last 10 years, you would love to have now?

Dwight McGlothern, he was basically calling out people for leaving LSU and then Kelly made him leave for showing up late to a meeting. Dude loved LSU.

I heard his son, Kevin Smith Jr. was leaving Oxford High School which lead me to believe his Dad is coming to be our RB coach. Could be wrong tho

Possibly recommended by Saban, I don't know how good of a recruiter he is but I'd be willing to bet he is a good coach and can develop OL

Woody has too much pride to do that. If he did my respect for him would shoot through the roof tho

But he inherited a bad situation and invited me to the family picnic! We should give him 25 years to turn the program around!

I believe if he is any good he'll be a Tiger.

He's never played for Karr and never practiced for Karr. Why don't you just give all the students a jersey?
re: So basically, from now on, every kid who can't crack the starting lineup will transfer.
Posted by Little Woods on 12/12/24 at 8:50 pm to Slippy
Facts, players were getting paid prior to NIL, and they will always be paid. NIL with strict transfer rules would be a lot better imo. They will keep this model as long as they can though because it generates chaos which generates more news which generates more clicks and money. I just don't understand trying to fix something that wasn't broke. They're milking college football for every penny at this point.
