I’ll break mine down;

5:30am 16oz monster
6:30am 12oz coffee
11am 1/2 scoop preworkout for 1hr gym session.
2pm 16oz monster
Sometimes I’ll have another cup of coffee around 4:30-5pm

I’m 45 am I gonna die? I’m in decent shape. Had my heart checked last year and it’s all good.

Your fine

As far as my habit, I cut back cause got tired of hearing my wife bitch but it used to be nothing for me to take a gram of caffeine a day

Now I have 2-3 white monsters per week, not even 1 a day

Coffee first thing.
Monster on the way to the gym.

That’s pretty much it. Maybe a Coke Zero or two/unsweet tea

I’m caffeine free and have been for 20 yrs. If I frick up and get full caffeinated coffee by accident, it’s a bad deal: headache, stomach turning, etc, etc.

Caffeine is horrible for you and should be avoided at all costs. Downvote away!

How so, and why? I’m kind of asking rhetorically knowing full well your vegetarian tendencies.

I have a cold brew every morning and about 3-4x a week I'll have a Celcius after lunch

One day, sure. I mostly hate my dependency on caffeine. Its literally the first thing I think of when I wake up. I hate that feeling.

So if I was you, I would at least try and break some of your dependency if you are worried about it.

Monday - Thursday
4:15 am - 1 cup of coffee (with a tablespoon of butter) after my run
5:45 am - 1 cup of coffee (black) when I get to work
11:15 am - half a serving of Promix Pre Workout before the gym

Friday-Sunday
1 cup of coffee whenever I wake up (usually around 6)
1 8 oz sugar free redbull in the late morning.

If I'm hunting I just have the one cup of coffee.

How is your sleep? That's the main thing I'd worry about. Caffeine has a half life of 4-6 hours in your body. I avoid it after lunch because I notice it takes me a lot longer to wind down/go to sleep if drink coffee or an energy drink after lunch.

Monster is the first thing that hits my lips in the morning. Followed by a coffee when I get to work. Then another coffee in the afternoon. Plus enough nicotine throughout the day to kill a small farm animal. This is all just to get me to baseline

4:45 Nespresso before workout
6am-7:30: 2-3 cups of drip coffee
2pm: energy drink usually HiBall seltzer that has 160mg but sometimes a monster if I am out of HiBall and have to go to gas station
5pm: nixie seltzer with 30mg

If we are doing something that night I might have another Nespresso along with Nixie.

I was knocking back 2 16oz sugar free monsters five days a week.

Since new year I've switched to cold brew coffee. Knocking down usually two 12ish oz of those a day during the week, one after my breakfast, and one after my lunch.

On the weekends I may have one or two Coke Zeros a day.

Almost always a Slate w 175mg caffeine on the drive to work
Then usually a white monster or Reign/Reign storm at lunch
Sometimes a 12 or 20oz Diet Coke on drive home

Have noticed that 3rd drink around 4pm sometimes causes some sleep issues so been trying to limit to 2 servings per day

Weekends usually cold brew in morning maybe some diet coke with lunch
Definitely less caffeine when not at work purely due to availability

I drink two cups (16 oz) when I wake up around 5 or 6.

Then I have an energy drink (200 mg) around 2 pm.

Then around 5 I’ll have a Coke Zero (20 oz).

What do you do, and why do you need that much caffeine in a daily basis ?

Supposedly caffeine has anti-cancer properties.

cold brew coffee

Cold brew coffee is a slice of heaven. I really like the French Truck Coffee concentrate with chicory.

Its not cheap though.

We have the Toddy Cold Brew maker at home, which is much much cheaper in the long run. Just have to make sure you get high quality coffee for it.

Cool Brew

I've been drinking this one. Makes sixteen 16oz cups for $12. Compared to ~$7 a day for two Monsters.

I drink a coffee when I wake up, mid morning, and early afternoon.

When I was in law school/ studying for the bar, I was at >10 cups a day. Too much. After the bar, I cut it out cold turkey and then added a normal amount back after about 1.5 weeks.

I don’t mess with energy drinks.
