Built a box blind this year and the last month this thing is covered in lady bugs. Never seen this before. The lizards are having a field day with them but just can’t keep up. Anyone ever seen this before

You probably don't want too many smells coming out of your stand, but citrus, lavender, or mint will keep them away

I think those are Asian beetles. And they are annoying as hell

They get into my tractor. I hate them.

lady bugs are good luck!

ETA - since I'm being downvoted, I know its not lady bugs. Just the old farmer's tale that lady bugs are good luck.

Those Asian beetles will bite you too.

Get some 7.9% Bifenthrin, mix 1 oz in 1 gallon of water in a pump sprayer, and spray your box blinds in the early spring before the it warms up to much before the wasps start making nests. Spray the walls, ceiling, everything. You won't have anything but dead bugs in there come hunting season.

Be glad it’s just your box blind. I live in a log cabin that isn’t exactly air-tight. Asian beetles invade our house this time of year, every year.

They’ll climb down your rifle barrel, too.

One of them watched me fap last week...I think I saw him shaking his head in disapproval after.

But most of those "ladybugs" are the invasive asian aphids.

I’d 100% miss a deer by not noticing it because I was too busy watching the lizards do to war against those asian beetles

The fact that you're just encountering this means you've been very lucky the past 10 years. Either that or you just awoke from a coma.

They get everywhere. The were all over my sealed storage containers of Christmas decorations.

We got some spray off of Amazon specifically for them. They get in our upstairs bonus room really bad. Spray it about every 3 months and it seems to keep them knocked back pretty good. Doesn't have too bad of a smell either... think it's deltamethrin or something like that.

I don't deer hunt. But the last year before I retired, they filled up the fluorescent light boxes in my office in Oklahoma City. I mean a bunch of them in every fixture.

Those little orange ones? They will bite you. Fairly sharp little bite. I didnt believe it until a couple got down my collar a couple years ago...

One got me on the neck a week or so ago. I thought it was a damn yellow jacket at first. No lingering pain or swelling though.
