This team has to get shooters. They came out and played hard last night. They were doing a lot of good things initially. Zion was was very good and aggressive. However, as the game moved on they just lost the math game Portland became less and less concerned with literally everyone other than Zion. Clingan and Williams simply did not care about their man and guys like Peavy, Poole, Fears, Jose, McGowans, and Hawkins just weren’t able to make shots. At one point we were 3/20 and they were 14/35 from 3. It is impossible to win like that. We need competent shooting in the worst way. It is unbelievable that we have not attempted to surround Zion with competent shooters for this long.

Yup, there’s no reason not to have 4-5 guys on this team that shoot 40+% on 6-8 3’s a game. It’s what’s been needed for 7 years, and at most they’ve had 2 at one time with Trey and CJ

Well they did try and draft Hawkins to be a 3 point sniper. Swing and a miss.

Until all 4 of them rotate missing tons of playing time due to injuries.

Not a complete basketball player in the whole bunch; all are specialists. With all due respect, if that's the team's core, where are you going to get the defense?

It would be stupid to blow it up now when everyone has low value and on a bad desperate team. What we trade them for at this exact moment? We are not getting fair value trade capital for them as it stands right now. We will blow it up. Give it time.

honestly id trade Trey too for the right price. I’m not sold on this team being good in the next 3-4 years. Get as much value as you can for all of these guys.

As if she has something to do with it. She hasnt' the slightest idea how an nba trade works, nor does she care to know.
Her only interest in the Pelicans is putting on a new outfit for each game and giving some hugs and kisses to the players after the game.

Do you actually believe Gayle knows what is going on? Everytime they show her on TV in that suite it looks like she would rather be watching PBS or the Church Channel.

She doesn't know what's going on but still determines which friend of hers to hire as GM or how long to keep a coach.
