Is Whataburger worth visting?

I remember reading on here they went down on quality. Last time I went it was alright. It's been awhile. How does it fare with it's fast food compeititors?

Better than a whopper or big mac or quarter pounder. Probably better than a Hardees burger. Not worth a separate trip or going out of your way.

Don't waste your money. Dry burger that sucks. It amazes me how many people out there have zero taste by loving whataburger. Should be called wastedmoneyburger

As with any fast food place, some locations are better than others.
The one I typically go to is good, and I like their burgers. I would rank them below Culvers, but ahead of McD, BK, Wendy's, Cook-out, Freddy's, and Hardees.

It’s a more costly supersonic burger. Tastes very much the same. I would choose Sonic over WAB.

WB isn't the same as it used to be but nothing else is either.
The single burger is underwhelming. Make it a double w/cheese so the meat ratio is better, won't seem as dry as a single. Bonus points for jalapenos, the only way to go imo.
ETA WB makes burgers for breakfast too, love me a burger in the morning

I've only been to In-n-Out once, so I can't speak to that. Chik-fil-A keeps their quality up too. I have been to a Whataburger that was dirty and sub par in Amarillo.
Update -- this thread got me hungry, so I went to the local Whataburger and tried the Patty Melt. I see why people recommend it. It was very good.

Eaten there once. Wasn't that good honestly. Tasted like Dairy Queen to me. I was hoping for better. We had one open down the street a couple of months ago.
