What is on everyone's menu for NYE? We are doing NY strip with some gnocci in alfredo sauce and broccoli. Will finish off with peanut butter chocolate chip cookie pie. Then will go on a heavy diet starting January 1!

Think I’m going to try to find some blue crabs tomorrow to boil.

If not successful, take some gumbo crabs and shrimps out the freezer and make a shrimp & crab poblano soup.

Theme of the party is "something you've never made before". All I know from the others is someone's making homemade piatrami.

I'm making Korean smoked pork belly burnt ends.

I always like to prepare a nice dinner for NYE.

Having another couple over for dinner this year.

They’re bringing some sort of duck breast appetizer and a salad.

Making a cream of garlic soup using a Bayona recipe I’ve used several times.

Main course will be horseradish crusted flounder over a potato truffle sauce, glazed carrots, and green bean almondine.

French 75s to start the evening

Bergeron’s Cabbage Jambalaya tonight. Probably leftovers with blackeyes and a pork loin tomorrow, but I might make some coleslaw, too

Whelp, when I was carrying the two racks of 84 pieces of finely seasoned, cubed, and delicately arranged pork belly to the smoker I slipped on the ice and it all went flying into the yard.

So, my official New Year's Eve menu is "frick all"
