My mother made some kind of concoction in a pressure cooker called porcupine meatballs. Burger made into meat balls packed with rice, tomato, etc and pressure cooked.

I have no clue how she did it, but it was damn good. She did have the cooker blow up one time. That was a helluva mess. :rotflmao:
Yep. I used to eat there when I lived in Kenner back in 03, and was working in Norco. Great place.

I miss Check-In, Check-Out. Bummed us all out when we came through heading to Morgan City and saw it was now an off ramp or something.
Was at the game. From the angles there were showing there, I was sure TN was gonna challenge. We are all screaming for them to get the next play off…lol. It was great to watch.

LOL no. There is a reason no other team has picked him up I’m sure.

I was at the game yesterday w/ my son. You could see the camaraderie on the sidelines. Good times.
I would kill to have one in Middle TN.

But, Publix gets us by for now.

Just saw the thread. Was Abita Andygator for me. Will keep a better eye out on Fridays.

Lot of truth in that. This really is the best board on the site. I rarely venture to the chaos of the other boards anymore. But, find myself checking this one almost daily. Thanks to those that helped build and hold the desired culture of this board.

I lurk often, but find myself popping in here almost daily was well. It’s a fun place w/ lots of good info.
I’d say 1 to 1.5lbs per person. Depends on the appetites.
Buffalo wings and fries.

Steaks will be tomorrow

re: rib roast pricing in your area?

I just picked up a PR at Kroger, for $8.99lb. Then went to Publix to snag a New York Strip Roast ($7.99lb), and picked up another PR for $9.99 because it looked better than Kroger. Between all of them I think I have around 18 steaks now. Will probably pick up another this weekend.

Now to fire up the vacuum sealer.
Headed to our Publix tomorrow AM To stock up and get some cut up.

looks like $7.99/lb here in nashville. better than the $22.99/lb i saw on a shitty pack of ribeyes today but i miss the days of sub $5 rib roast during the holidays.

Where at in Nashville? I’m seeing $8.99 at Kroger, and $9.99 at Publix a couple counties north of you for us.
frick you Archie. Go eat your pudding and watch wheel of fortune reruns.

AM isn’t spotless here either.

Agreed. I liked what I saw from Shuck.

re: Lab with really bad breath

I’d get its teeth checked. Had a pup w/ foul breath and it ended up being plaque like others said and a couple of bad teeth.
