I was begged by the senior members of my Family to receive a gift, so I obliged them and let them pay for some Cartier sunglass which is fricking glorious plus I got a major discount from my vision insurance plan

I know.

The one we requested was this one. I have no idea why he went with toonces instead. I guess I should have been more specific.

In 1986 at 15 years old, I received a Honda 250r three-wheeler. LINK

Wish I still had it today!

I’ve been doing a fair amount of woodworking this year just for fun. Small things on the lathe, etc.

My brother took one of my favorite pictures of my old dog that died last year, made a logo out of it, and ordered a small brand for me with the logo.

Definitely cooler than the random stuff I usually get.

I got a nice quarter zip. Been wanting one for a while but can rarely find anything that fits. Wife picked me out a nice one.

We delivered groceries to 3 needy families (through a church program). The first family was a young mother raising 3 girls and a boy while working at Cane's! Thankfully, she invited us in and the second I got in the door the boy clung to me leg. As I gave him attention he quickly got up on a stool with arms strtched out desperately wanting to hug me. I picked him up for a while and he was content.
He obviously has little interaction with males. He needs a Daddy.
That interaction was the highlight of my Christmas season.

I get ~22 pounds (1/4 of a wheel) of imported Parmesan Reggiano every year from my in-laws. Still the coolest gift I get. I cut it up and vacuum seal it, then use it throughout the year or give some as a thank you gift as well.

Is that one of those “Gifts” from Santa that your wife just gives you the evil eye as you unwrap it on Christmas morning
