not in a Republic. Even if the people of that state tried to vote for it, still couldn't do it.

UNITED STATES of America... we are a republic of states. If the US Government takes over a state, then it's time to take up arms. If a state wants to frick themselves up, it's their choice.

Yes. It was called “Reconstruction”. Also, the “republic” crowd in this thread are a bunch of simps. The USA is a CONSTITUTIONAL republic. States don’t exist in a vacuum. Every state affects interstate commerce in some way, therefore, it would appear that the commerce clause authorizes such a takeover. No doubt all you “sovereign citizen” geniuses will dispute this.

This is the greatest gift they could’ve given the Trump DOJ and a perfect litmus test:

Any Somalis involved can be deported or sent to prison.

Any DNC politician involved is guilty of RICO violations and if emails verify politicians knowingly accepted and provided cover in return for donations those politicians are guilty as well.

It’s no different than when the Dixie Mafia used to run politics in Alabama using dirty money from bootlegging and gambling proceeds in Phoenix City back in the prohibition era, half the politicians were on the take and the others shut up for fear of the ones that were.

They should federalize every state that was involved with this type of fraud which will be Minnesota, California, NY, Colorado and I'm hearing Ohio is next

Same things are happening in Dearborn, Atlanta, NY, Cleveland, Denver, Portland.

We need 2,000,000 new law enforcement for ice, fbi.

I specifically remember no standing on this in 2020.

We currently don't have a constitutional provision for a legal Dictator to take temporary power as the Romans did, so no.

Federal regulations/mandates/restrictions under any and all interpretations of the commerce clause have to be narrowly tailored to a legitimate government interest as a core element of permissibility.

A broad "takeover" of a State would never in a million years fit that mold.

One of the fed’s core duties is to guarantee a republican form of government. (Article IV, Section 4).

Any “take over” I could imagine would only be temporary and would have to be in furtherance of that.

I doubt dumbassery and incompetence alone gets you there.

Huh? What would be the reason? I laugh at that nonsense of "what will happen when the dems are in charge." It already has which is why the GOP is blowing out the doors to the dem establishment. It has been very gratifying to witness.

Please provide info on a GOP run state or city committing fraud.
