Seems both the Zodiac and Black Dahlia crimes have been solved!

I know we’ve heard it before but this one seems incredibly legit. Not only that but evidence supports the Zodiac and Black Dahlia killers as being the same person - Marvin Margolis AKA Marvin Merrill. He was a WW2 vet who lived with Elizabeth Short prior to her being murdered. He was investigated originally until he fled from police and changed his name. I don’t think he was linked previously to Zodiac though.
And yes, to be connected to both he’d likely have to be dead today and he is. Died in 1993 as he would’ve been 100 this year. A man named Alex Baber lead the investigation that connected an amazing amount of dots and a top cryptologist has even confirmed Baber cracked all the remaining cyphers which did reveal the name just as Zodiac promised.
The suspect’s family is cooperating and have handed over items of interest that are being tested. The police departments that have been involved for all these years are currently going over all of the evidence but some of those closest to it have claimed it’s over. This is the one.
Daily Mail seems to be out front on this one and their article is a must read for those interested. These two cases are arguably among the most famous of all time.

Connecting ALA to Zodiac never made a lot of sense to me. He was a serial child molester but exclusively of boys and he never murdered any of them. From the looks of that poster they appear to have solved the DB Cooper case too.

Hopefully this proves once and for all that the myth is much more interesting than the truth.

I don’t think there’s any doubt he killed Black Dahlia. And I’m just about certain he’s Zodiac but only if the article is accurate and the investigator is telling the truth.
Because that would mean he had AI try every name from the 1950 census and his was the only one that worked for the cypher. And then that person just so happened to be the best suspect for Black Dahlia as well. And then that person was also a white male, in the proper age range and despite having moved around the country extensively was also in the area at the time for each of the Zodiac murders.
The rest of the circumstantial tidbits are interesting but unconvincing on their own so unless they find something showing he couldn’t have been Zodiac then that alone is about as close to a sure thing as you can hope for in this case.
The odds would be just about off the charts at that point.
