Louisiana guy. 6x NFL pro-bowler, has to be in the top 3-5 Defensive Tackles to ever put on the purple and gold.

It was his decision to step away and spend more time doing the things he enjoys.

Came from a different generation of college football. It was an honor to get a scholarship and now kids are very entitled. I don’t think coach Williams is fond of college football. My guess he goes back and coaches highschool football for the love of the game

If he was smart with his NFL money he doesn’t have to work.

Enjoy family and life

KW about to go back to golfing, hunting, fishing, being a dad, and probably coach ball at Ruston. And good for him, Baw has earned the good life.

Kyle is a great Tiger and I thought did a very good job with this years line.

No shame in wanting to go back to the retired life. The man did his time in the league.

I’m grateful we got him to step in for us when he did.

Being a good player does not always translate into being a good coach. Not saying this is the case here

Sounds like he didn't like this version of college football and decided to walk away. His career NFL earnings was $58M. I think he'll be fine.

I'm sure others have stated by now, but word is he doesn't really want to coach.

I don't think he was ever going to be a permanent solution. Just stepped in to help

He didn't like the CFB coaching schedule and demand. Apparently he likes to golf every day and whatnot. Good for him. He earned almost $60M.
