What’s funny. All the older Xmas movies. You notice they always put their trees up just days before Xmas?

Emma’s Garden on the Westside next to Spillway Sportsman.

My wife's parents put up the tree on Christmas eve, after they go their four kids to bed. When they went to bed, the living room was normal, when they came down the next morning, there was a decorated, live tree and tons of presents.
Once the kids grew up, they started doing the tree earlier. That must have taken them half the night to do all that at once, but she says that was pretty common where she grew up.

This would actually be pretty awesome as a kid! Pure hell for the parents, though.

I don't think we put our tree up until about 2 weeks prior to Christmas for most of my childhood. Started slowly to get closer and closer to Thanksgiving until I moved out and my started to do the tree the day after Thanksgiving so that all her kids could help get the stuff out of the attic while at home.

Just put mine up yesterday. Got it at Louisiana Nursery on Perkins. It was slim pickings, but managed to find a pretty decent one. Doubt you’ll have many options tomorrow.
Kids and I went to pick it up before they go back to their mom. I don’t like getting one too early because I don’t take it down until after the Epiphany.
