What I want to know is how the hell did people with no legal status and no SSN ever get federally insured FHA mortgages in the first place?

Look up the story of failed auto lender Tricolor. It was actually their business model to target illegals for car loans. Can’t make this up.

I've got some that moved in near me that I suspect are illegal. Can't speak English. They run inside when I try to talk to them like they are scared of me. With all of this sweep going on they haven't gone to work or left the house in a week that I can tell. Lights are out and it's dark over there with their vehicles there. I suspect they are holed up in there in the dark. I just told my wife last night that that house may be vacant/for sale before long if they jet or get picked up.

When I was working at HEB in decent area of NW Austin, we had a large number of Pakistanis in the surrounding neighborhoods. It became obvious that many were living as multi generational or family situations under one roof. It was not uncommon to see up to 15 people in our database with the same address. These were generally 3 bedrooms averaging about 2200 sqft.
