LSU not playing Florida in 2026

That’ll be the first time in 40-50 years that we haven’t played UF in a season. Crazy times

I made it a point to go to the Florida game this year because I figured this was going to happen
I don’t know why but they’re my favorite to watch of all of our “recent” rivals. Sad to see this one relegated to the rotation tier but I understand why it was hard to make them permanent

We will play EVERY SEC team TWICE in a 4 year period.
We will play Arkie, A&M, and OMiss every year during those 4 years.
What some folks do not realize is that, OM, Arkie, and the Ags as "perms" might change after 4 seasons.

I don't mind the schedule.
But yeah, like you, I always looked forward to the Florida game.
November looks good. I like the opponents.

I mean, its good for us since both teams play us like its their superbowl, and theres always some frickery when we play in Jordan H, but those are some good, hard fought games were missing out on.

It is almost always a good game with crazy events unfolding. This is my absolute favorite SEC game every year.

At 57, I can remember a time when we didn't play Auburn all that much. We never faced Bo Jackson. The earthquake game was only the third time we had played them in 15 years. Weird to think about with all of the craziness with them the last 30 years.

Same.... i think for me I was at LSU in 07.... that run of games 06, 07, 08 determined the national champion.... was a GREAT and downright physical rivalry
