What can realistically be done to remedy this?

Nothing.
Our gov't has failed us, and esp our children.
There is no solution.

We will all get what our fellow man apparently wants for this country, and we’ll get it good n hard.

The problem is not that they passed only five. The problem is the five they passed suck overall. I would say five a year, that are good, is all you should need if you didn’t already mess everything up in previous years with bad laws.

My preference would be pass five good ones and remove 100 bad ones.

Just hate how they can fund other countries, pet projects and pass an epstine bill in 72 hours but never provide relief for Americans. Then everyone blames Trump when it’s literally Congress job. If Congress really wanted to help their constituents they could write bills that could lower grocery bills but they dgaf as they have their meals provided and get paid more than the avg voter. It’s a better incentive for them to run to the news and blame trump instead of actually working in their own districts and working together.

Two things:

1. Gut the power of the Executive Order and curb the over reliance on it to govern

2. Term limits

The entire party needs to be remade. Get Elon involved. Make him the chairman of a shadow GOP and start targeting R's that aren't on board.

Nothing. The GOPe is waiting us all out. They would rather be communists than let Trump in their club.

Am I the only one who likes it when more bills aren't getting passed?

Congress not passing bills is not the worst that can happen IMO. I know this is targeted stuff at Trump but when congress passes anything there is always a good chance it screws things up worse.

Not putting it in writing, but the system is working exactly like they intended it to. Youre always THIS close to winning that big prize at the fair. They even let every 200th person win it. But only when they want.

This cycle cannot be voted out, its too late. It will keep swinging back and forth, and when it swings left it will inch further that way. It is NOT coming back without very uncomfortable things happening.

Trump is busy legislating through the courts. Some 450 court issues so far with a good number in his favor. Much better way to manage than legislature.
