In the Opinions released this afternoon, the Louisiana Supreme Court has removed Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Robert of Baton Rouge and suspended Judge Royale Colbert of Lafayette for six months.
The Supreme Court hasn't ever come down this hard in a single day.

19th JDC Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts is accused of lying about her resume. The Louisiana Judiciary Commission says the judge's lies about serving in multiple military conflicts helped her win a seat as a judge.
According to The Advocate, the judiciary commission got Foxworth-Roberts' military records in April. They don't match an advertisement that ran in the Central City newspaper in 2020, which was based on a post saying Foxworth-Roberts served 13 years in the U.S. Army as both an enlisted soldier and commissioned officer during Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

What did each of them do to get those consequences? It does not say in the rulings.

They dropped the ball on giving Eboni Johnson Rose a paid suspension. The things she did were way more worse than Foxworth, imo.

Actions considered “mistakes” are treated vastly differently than actions considered intentionally fraudulent or dishonest. That’s just an across the board rule with both the ODC and the Supreme Court.

I can say that i officially stand corrected.
I did not think a day would come where i would see a black female mayor, judge, or politician ever get held accountable.
Just the sheer fact that Latoya dodges bullets on a daily like she is Neo in the matrix made me think it’s impossible.
So, there is finally 1 that faced consequences. I truly thought it was impossible

No doubt. But really not close to some of the other absurd shite that goes on at the 19th by other Judges.
