The interviewee in this says something very important, that when the staffer’s story changed, she came to leadership with texts and emails.

If Moore was dumb enough to bang his subordinate and then go on an all time crash out, I have an extremely hard time he believing he was smart enough to keep all of his communications with her off of state issued devices.

What that means is when the University “investigated” them this summer, they didn’t do anything but ask the two parties if it was true or not. The very first thing they should have done is check the phone and email records they have access to. At best it’s complete negligence and more likely a cover up.

Warde Manual is done, and factoring in Michigan’s recent history in both football and basketball, I don’t see how they don’t get absolutely killed here

The days of program deaths are over. This will get settled out of court. That bi racial baby will be set for life just like its momma.

This. The NCAA is toothless and isn’t long to exist in it’s current form. There will be tons of litigation and bad press for sure, but I doubt there will be anything in terms of direct program sanctions from the NCAA.

It may not be the NCAA that whacks them if they were doing an amount of cover up that is plausible here

What can and will the legal system do to Michigan athletics as a stand alone entity? I am genuinely asking. I’m sure there are individual folks who could be in some very hot water with this.

Penn State covered up child molestation and grooming for decades.

Michigan will be fine. The individuals involved will not be.

The NCAA has no power anymore

Only the Big10 could maybe do something

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down

Of the big lake, they called Gitche Gumee...

Honestly, more interested in the Edmund Fitzgerald book at this point.

Allegedly she had an abortion last year and got a substantial raise at that time. Allegedly now pregnant again and refused to have another abortion. Which was part of his crash and burn with the wife finding out and the staffer mistress refusing the abortion this time

One rumor is that Michigan wanted this to quietly go away, but something happened which made her go to her dad, who is an executive scout with the Bears, who then went to bat for his daughter and blew it all up. Good on the father, just a bad situation all around.
