Did y'all forget how much Frank has meant to LSU?

Simply reeled in the highest rated recruit in program history in Leonard Fournette and helped him become an All-American. Followed that up with Derrius Guice. He hasn't forgotten how to coach or recruit. He had a terrible OL to work with this year. Give the man some props.

I do give him respect. However, it’s been pointed out many times that LSU has 3 national championships this millennium and Frank wasn’t part of any of those.

And that was nine years and three LSU coaches ago.

And he was paid well then and is now

None of what you have described earns him a job for life

I still don't understand what "good recruiter" means in the NIL era. If those skills matter why did we not pull even one RB?

I appreciate him for all the championships he was a part of.

Don’t worry, when Bama, Texas or A&M starts stealing top recruits from New Orleans this board I’ll flip back.

They were also calling Raymond washed up after Kelly fired him

Fournette was basically the same all three years at LSU. He didn't really improve that much, he just got more playing time. His vision was and is still bad, and he was not great at pass protection. He was physically just a freak of nature.

Guice had one year under Frank and blew up in his first year without Frank. Guice had 436 yards as Freshman under Frank. Next two years he had 1387 and 1251 yards.

Yes, the guys that only got touched by Frank for a year are all on him.

All of them either have stolen or currently are stealing top recruits from NOLA with Frank at LSU.

People still believe the key to getting recruits in the New Orleans predominantly black schools is to have someone from Karr or St Aug on staff. This may hold some weight, but NIL offers have a lot more pull now.

I appreciate what Frank has done while at LSU. But the new HC has to have the freedom to hire the people he wants to hire. I imagine there are a lot of dynamics at work here. Let Kiffin hire his staff as he pleases.

I remember when Bo Pelini was a great coach, too.

How many national championships did he help us win? How did his RB recruits rank this season?

Some of you believe LSU will fall apart without Frank.

If you think Frank made LF7 or Guice good, you’re misinformed.

We’re paying LK to build his staff and whatever that entails.

Frank has coached with Lane in the past. There is a reason he is not retaining him. I don’t know what that reason is, but there is a reason.

But what if he is at another school and that particular school is offering the same exact deal as LSU? Relationships matter, and Frank has built in relationships with PARENTS of these recruits. With that being said, I'm not advocating here for him to be on staff or not be on staff.
