Could possibly mean something in the race for Elijah Robinson

This is exactly why LSU needed to lock in Lane. Let it drag out and shite like this happens and other schools start to throw their hat in the ring.

Seems like they got satisfactory news from E Rob. Would make sense. He worked under Rhule at Temple. It also seems like they weren't firing their DL coach without a good idea of who the next one might be.

I can’t imagine going to Nebraska over LSU.

How long does Rhule have there? He’s gotten no where so far.

Well this freaking SUCKS! We already told these 5 star recruits that Erob was going to be coaching them into milionares, now he changes his mind for Nebraska!? I hope we dont lose on these guys we just signed because of this but I’m pretty sure we will

Either you just don’t like the south or are coasting a bit.

Otherwise there is no other reason as we will undoubtedly pay more and have a class full of freaks coming in.

Well E Rob isn't from the south. He's played and started his coaching career up north. Maybe he just missed being up there.

I think the biggest issue here is he wouldn't control LSU's entire DL so I can understand why he would look elsewhere. He probably wants to coach DEs too. It's his death sentence though. He'll be out of the job in 1-2 years after they can Rhule.

Hopefully they can just promise him full DL job once Peoples leaves and up his salary. Maybe that's enough to convince him.

ERob needs to go visit Nebraska this weekend. The low on Saturday is 2 degrees. 2!

Nah, F all that.

I'm pretty sure he didn't coach the ends at A&M. Might have to try and go steal Meatball away from the Ravens.

I think they were going to can their DL coach regardless so I'm not sure how much this means on Robinson.

He'd be an idiot to go coach over there with all the talent LSU has coming in alongside what's already here and what we got in portal. Not to mention Rhule is on hot seat only way Lane is leaving is if he decides to. At least he'd have the talent to revive his career here and I'm pretty sure LSU is willing to pay more than Nebraska. Not sure what there is to think tbh outside he wants a bigger position that maybe Nebraska is promising.

They just hired a new Def Coor the other day from San Diego State, he could be bringing some people over as well.

Unless he is offered the DC position there, I can't fathom any reason for Robinson to go to NU over LSU or PSU.

If he is genuinely considering an apples-apples role at NU over LSU, oof. Would have to think it early onset CTE

Coaching defensive tackles versus coaching the whole DL unit is not apples to apples.

Scone said this morning that Robinson didn't like that it was leaked that he was talking to LSU. Dude is in the wrong business if he hates leaks

Nobody can win there. Nebraska is living in 1995. They aren't getting good players from California, Florida and Texas like they used to. Fans need to accept the fact the program is middle tier .

I had no idea he'd left Baylor. And already in his 2nd season.
