It’s still an active listing on the MLS. If it was under contract it wouldn’t still be listed as active. It’s actually owned by a dentist currently who sold his practice to a major franchise brand. The dentist bought it in 2015 for $6 mil

From what I heard, he only paid 1.2M for the house he bought. Definitely wouldn't be the Pennington house.

When Layla was searching for real estate, I was hoping they'd buy that big arse fricking house for one reason: it would insinuate that he's looking to be here for a long time because the market for a house like that in Baton Rouge just isn't there.
