Will Ole Miss hatred for Kiffin be worse than LSU hatred for Saban when he went to Bama?

It’s definitely died down and turned a little to respect. But the hatred of Saban by LSU fans was at an all time high when he went to Bama and got worse after he won everything multiple times. But at least he didn’t go straight from LSU to Bama.

How bad will the Ole Miss hatred of Kiffin be after he wins a National Championship here?

Yes. This would be the equivalant of Saban leaving us directly for Alabama. The buffer was needed. LSU fans would have lost their minds.

Yes, because Saban went to the Miami Dolphins not to Bama.

I never hated ST Nick. I just wish he had stayed at LSU.

How y’all felt when went Saban to Alabama doesn’t even compare to what OM is experiencing right now.

Ole miss will never recover. Never.

We won with coach O for crying out loud.

350% worse

But really, I would bet it’s a lot worse. It would be like if Saban went directly to Alabama before an SEC champ game. I know the hate was strong even with the NFL stop, but this will be a different level of vitriol

100%.

Saban delivered us a NC then scratched an itch with the nfl, then unfortunately returned to am sec rival. I don't think anyone was upset until he went to bama

Kiffin left for an sec rival during a playoff run, and will haunt you for a long time. Much worse, there will always be what could have been in ole miss head, they may never reach this height again.

We still got 2 more NC after Saban, they are likely cooked for enterinty

Not even in the same universe. OM will be exponentially worse. Lane would be advised to bring s contingent of LA State police with him to oxford

Saban didn’t leave LSU during a playoff run for Alabama.

And it will be worse because he didn't win a championship at Ole Miss. We were all disappointed Saban left, but he had won a championship at least before he left. Imagine if he'd left halfway before building what he built and we never got to the plateau that allowed Miles and later Orgeron to win championships.

If they continue relevance maybe one day they will look back in respect but they’ll probably hate him for the rest of their days. Still can’t believe so many are ignoring the fact that he’s done what every coach does. They move on to bigger and better opportunities. It’s just the playoffs complicated that.

This would like if Nick left us in December 2003 before the SEC CG and going straight to Bama.

Ole Miss will very likely return to an 8-win team
