They have better chicken and better sauce. They offer spicy tenders and milkshakes. They also predate Cane’s by two years which means Cane’s is a knock off

How many billions of dollars is laynes worth?

I thought everything but the toast was better. Not like either split the food atom.

What the frick is a Layne?

I was surprised to hear they’re building one in Ruston. I guess they’re expanding into LA.

I've never tried Laynes, but I've had Zaxbys and Foosackly's and neither has better sauce than Canes. There are some things both do better, fries especially, but not sauce.

nah, just got one by us...the breading is thicker than canes and has an oven fried tender taste,,,,but their cream gravy is spot on for fast food...and the toast is subpar...but at least you don't have to sub the slaw

People love to shite on canes…. But there isn’t a better chicken finger place (fast food)
I’ve noticed over the last year or so that the tenders are a little larger as well

Try chicken express dude here in Houston and all over Texas. Bigger Chicken fingers way better tasting and cheaper

I can get spicy at laynes. Worth it over canes.

I will say, that out of all the chicken finger chains I’ve tried, Layne’s comes the closest to Cane’s
You can also get potato salad instead of coleslaw

When I buy Cane’s, I’m supporting LSU. Case closed.

Layne's tenders definitely have more flavor than Cane's. That's not even debatable.
Personally, though, I prefer Krispy Krunchy tenders over both. At least when they're fresh and haven't been under a gas station lamp for seven hours.

Doesn't need a dipping sauce to get flavor into(on) the tender.

Guthrie’s is the original. Cane’s and Layne’s are both knockoffs. Zaxby’s too.
Todd and the founders of Zaxby’s all worked at Guthrie’s.
It always makes me laugh when they tell that bullshite story about how no one thought his chicken finger restaurant idea would work. I mean he ripped it off an already proven working restaurant.

Lol this is hilarious.
But bring on good alternatives like Laynes

I don't knowingly support anything that's popular with aggy.
Someone brought two trays of Layne's to my kid's lacrosse team at a tournament, but didn't tell the kids where it was from. My boy immediately knew it wasn't Cane's, and said it wasn't very good.
So, Cane's is a knock off, but there are 749 locations, and way, way fewer Lane's. The owners either suck at business, or the public doesn't find the product as good.
