First off if you waited until yesterday to go to the grocery store, I’m sorry. Now to the point of this post. Why are there 47 different varieties of milk now? I’m sorry but if it didn’t come from an animal it’s not milk. I’ve never seen anyone milk an almond or an oat. At this point they should just call it the nut juice section.

Big milk missed a huge opportunity to force them into calling it nut juice.

That’s like saying there’s only one way to fix shrimp. OP is dumb.

Comes from different farms. Different levels of fat in the milk. Start multiplying those combinations and it’s a lot.

You have to wonder who was the first to see a calf nursing from its momma’s teet a think “I’d kinda like to take a pop off that”.
And was there a trial and error process where they tried milking various animals before settling on the cow as the main source? Like was there a time when horses were in the running? Pigs maybe?

Well considering we make milk for our babies it more likely had to do with a dry mother needing milk or just easier to get greater volume from an animal.

For health reasons, “Blondie” put me on almond milk. But, for recipes, she uses cow milk. Go figure…

The Mongols actually did drink horse milk.

They got that A2 protein milk that people with lactose intolerance or allergies or some shite can drink so that's pretty cool I guess.

This post would be edgy if it were like 2017

That’s right. I’d forgot about that. Dan Carlin mentioned this in his series on the Mongol Empire.

If you are heterosexual man and you don’t like milk you don’t like boobs and you are an actually a nominee for a James’ Beard Award.
This shite tastes like it should be illegal, it’s so good.
