Just signing on today and I can’t see why everyone is freaking out about the “without cause” news today and are saying LK isn’t coming now.

All “without cause” means is he didn’t violate the terms of his contract. It doesn’t mean he wasn’t fired for on field performance. There aren’t performance clauses in these contracts. So any reason other than what is forbidden is “without cause.”

So why is everyone freaking out?

Could be that lsu is starting to realize they’re getting played like they did with Riley and Herman.

No one is freaking out. It was to clear the way for a new coach and hopefully for BK to land a new job. This is actually good news. The buyout is stretched out over 6 years.

Everyone is at Defcon1…. LSU doesn’t have a HC, and it’s very likely we will have a new HC within a few days.

The only question is will it be Kiffin or Saban?

Because people have unresolved trauma they need to deal with. It’s been done over a week

No, it's settling BK's contract so it won't create an obstacle with Lane's. At least that's the way I see it.

Maybe I’m just misreading the board, but all the Florida posters seem to have renewed confidence except CAW. Just wondering what changed except them taking the word of some guy on Twitter.

If that was the case they wouldn’t have withdrawn their for cause action.

The closer we get, the higher their dosage of copium. No sane LSU fan should be melting right now.

He came out and said he'd made up his mind. He's staying at Ole Miss. Said he'd never really seriously thought about going to that... and I quote... "Hellhole swampland bayou dumpster of the south" that is Baton Rouge.

Gator fans thinking they’re going for Trailer park Billy to Lane Kiffin has been the most amusing part about this entire coaching search.

Last ditch effort to get lane, to prove your AD isn’t a dumpster fire.

The UF posters are buying into their insiders telling them “no new is good news and good news for everyone else is better news for us”. They actually believe they’re pulling some sort of super secret submarine maneuver to swipe Lane right from under LSU and Ole Miss’ noses.

It’s definitely not that they gained some momentum with him early and then fell out of the race once Kelly was fired and Ole Kiss and LSU upped the ante. Nope. No way.
