What is the connection with Chris Low?

Why are some folks seemingly giving his prediction of Kiffin staying at OM more weight than others? I've never really heard much of him before. Is he connected to OM in some way?

He apparently is very close to Nick Saban and Jimmy Sexton so the theory is that he may know inside scoop.

Chris Low has been very close to Kiffin for years. Whenever Kiffin wants a story to go public he lets Chris go public with it.

Seems that if he was connected to Sexton, his marching orders would be to just not rock the boat more. In that case I wouldn't expect much out of him.

This is true, but FWIW the Ole Miss 247 board is adamant that there have been no indicators that Lane is staying and they believe Low was just buying some cover for him

Low’s not going to give anything away he’s asked not to. I’m actually surprised that he even gave a prediction. I think picking OM is the most neutral prediction at this point.

This is exactly what is happening - Low (on the behest of Jimmy) is trying to sell you that Lane is undecided.

On3 ran an article this morning asking 80 "experts" where they think Lane ends up. Chris Low's prediction was Ole Miss.

Low is usually spot on with his articles. Doesnt just shoot his mouth off. I usually dont believe anything unless he reports it. I am surprised he even gave a prediction as well.

The Ole Miss On3 reporters yesterday were all saying that Lane to LSU was the very likely outcome.
On a live stream just now they said they think Lane stays.
No idea whether something has actually changed, or what but it's the most confidence I've seen from the Ole Miss pay boards since the statement came out on Friday.

Its always a fluid situation lol. If I were to bet on any one person reporting it would be Low for sure.
