If Kiffin comes, just don't be mad when he gives LSU the middle finger and moves on!

A lot of LSU fans are all excited because it appears Kiffin is headed to BR, but just be careful what you wish for. Kiffin has a history of giving programs - Tennessee and about to be Ole Miss - the middle finger and don't think LSU will be any different.
Ole Miss has made Kiffin who he is today, but he doesn't have the decency to be honest with the players/alumni/boosters/fans who have supported him for six years. Clearly, Kiffin is the hot name out there, but don't fool yourself into believing he's staying at LSU for any amount of time. History shows, regardless if he's successful or not, he will one day show LSU the middle finger.
Don't say you haven't been warned.
Remember this:
- Kiffin has coached at three of the most storied programs in college football history in Tennessee, USC and Ole Miss and he's never led a team to a championship or even the championship game
- Over last three years, CBK has a more SEC wins than Kiffin
- Since the beginning of the CFB playoffs, SMU, Arizona State, Boise and TCU have made the playoffs, but Ole Miss has not even come close
- If LSU hires Kiffin, it will mark the first time in college football history that a school went from having the winningest active college football coach to hiring a coach that hasn't come close to even making a championship game.
- It will also mark the first time in CFB history that a school will make a HC the highest paid coach in the country and the coach has never won or even made it to a championship conference game or the playoffs.
- The reality is this: Lane Kiffin = Tom Herman - a lot of fluff, but no substance!
But one thing is for sure in hiring Kiffin - the middle finger is coming. The only question is when and where. I guess some hard-headed coonasses have to learn the hard way!

As long as there is a ring on that middle finger.

Moves on to what?
Reasons Kiffin would leave LSU:
1. He is let go b/c he isn't winning.
2. He retires.
3. Involved in a scandal big enough to get him fired.

Something, something conference strength. As an LSU fan, I will accept LK with a smile on my fricking face

Thanks for the heads up. Still want Kiffin to be the head coach.

If he quits we don't owe him a buyout. He'll be successful until that point.
New era of CFB is what it is.

Would that shock anyone?

Kiffin coming and leaving would still be an upgrade over ya boi BK.

Better question, why do you spend so much time on a message board for a team you are very clearly not a fan of?
Seems incredibly lame.

Shine, according to your thoughts, as he raises trophies, we should all say "yea, but...". I will worry about that when it happens. Just like Saban, we will wish him luck & look forward to the next guy & the next trophy.

When’s the last time LSU had a HC other programs coveted?
We know the answer
It’ll be ok

Yup
And in the era of college free agents if your team is loaded with talent and you lose your head coach you better make a splash in the hire or you lose way to many players that matter. So...you swing for the fences.

I could not care about this in the slightest. You can’t make a hire based off what will happen 2-3 years down the line

We need you to tell us this grandpa. Some of y’all are narcissists, lol. Think everyone needs your counsel on everything
