Rumors were rampant about LR and all the inside sources said he was who LSU was pursuing. His name was intentionally leaked, he shut down the rumor and BK, who nobody expected or had info on, was hired the next day. Yea not a smokescreen.

So everyone in the public wasn’t convinced we were hiring Riley, people didn’t have inside sources saying it would be Riley, Riley wasn’t the Vegas betting favorite? I just imagined all that?

Kiffin feels like the smokescreen like Lincoln Riley. If we are waiting on him to pursue other candidates, feels like a massive mistake. I have a feeling they are pursuing someone nobody knows about or is speculating about personally.

Lol you have 0 clue what you are talking about.

Unfortunately for Woodward, he isn't God. He had a boss, etc. So, despite what he may or may not have lined up, he can't just do his own thing without repurcussions.

Correct. His boss stepped in and showed us all who is on charge. And here we are.

Woodward fired BK without the board's approval in the heat of the moment during a tense argument about what assistants to let go.

This has been debunked. They had a calm professional meeting and he was let go. No staff changes were proposed or discussed.
Lol people here will blame Woodward for all this mess when it would not have happened if he was retained. This is the kind of dysfunction we had before Woodward and now that he is gone it is already back. Not a coincidence. Yea he made a risky expensive hire that did not work out. He was likely going to fix it himself without damaging LSU, but he was fired before he could. Now we have clowns running the show and it will be chaos. Downvote away.
His specialty was donor relations and fundraising. I am betting when he made the decision to fire, he had the commitment from donors to cover the buyout like we originally heard from some sources in BR media. The donors likely had plans with Woodward to remove BK and pursue the new HC hire they wanted. Once the governor removed him and embarrassed him publicly and it was known he wasnt going to have any say in the new HC, that financial support likely dried up and now LSU is left to figure it out without the support. Pretty ugly situation regardless and this will damage LSU athletics pretty heavily. Yikes.

Are Reaves and Pearson locks to start at corners?
My company buys us Dodges. I have had a 2020 big horn with the 5.7 hemi and a 2022 lone star with the 6 cylinder torque. Both very dependable trucks I never had any issues with.

Catch 22 and Roll Call was loaded last night.
People I used to tailgate with as a kid lived in Woodgate off highland rd. Hallman’s house was on the main road of the neighborhood and we had to pass it to go back to their house after the games. There would be toilet paper and multiple for sale signs in his yard after every game.
There’s loudmouth goofballs all over Louisiana who run their mouths about what they think will happen. There’s even more people who hear these goofballs and believe them and run to a message board.
