Bill Cassidy seeking Trump's Endorsement

Republican Louisiana U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy said the White House has made it "explicitly clear" President Trump won't endorse any of his GOP opponents, despite his challengers attacking Cassidy's MAGA credentials.
Cassidy discussed his reelection bid in a wide-ranging interview Nov. 21 with Punchbowl News on that Capitol Hill news organization's "Fly Out Day" episode that focused on his plan to mitigate expiring Affordable Care Act subsidies.
“It’s been communicated the president’s staying neutral,” Cassidy said in the Punchbowl News interview.
In a statement sent to USA Today, Cassidy said he hasn't given up on securing Trump's endorsement for himself in the 2026 Senate race despite Cassidy's vote to convict the president during Trump's 2021 impeachment trial.

I would vote for a democrat over cassidy. Cassidy will never get my vote for any office ever again.

I would write in my buddy’s name before voting for Cassidy. Trump’s endorsement means nothing. An endorsement wouldn’t matter. I’m not voting for Cassidy.

Was John Fleming hired by Trump during the 45 admin, in some capacity? What was Cassidy’s relationship with Trump during that time? I don’t remember

Trump’s response should be that he’s seen that Cassidy doesn’t endorse him frequently enough that this shouldn’t be a question.
