This type of phenomenon is normal in more corrupt countries (like South America or South east Asia).

Curious if anyone would sell their vote for local , state, or national elections and how much would they believe it’s worth. Assume you never get caught

Conservative family in a (WAY) majority liberal area here, I'll sell both mine and Mrs Cotten's. I'd be surprised if they're even counted.

If it was a local election where a former Hooter's girl, that's now a gym manager is running for alderman, yes.

A ditchpig like Kamala would need way more money.

For less than that I'll let you tell me who to vote for. Then vote my own way anyway.

I watched the democrat party buy votes of minorities with a free bus ride to the polls and a box lunch.

Popeyes 3-piece spicy is a known vote buy, as well.

You can have the perception that you’ve bought my vote for $1000. I’ll take the money and vote the way I was going to anyway.

It’s common in America in the black community and it costs a lot less than $1000. All it’ll cost you is a plate lunch and a ride to the polls.

Not being racist, that’s just true. Politicians host “events” at churches or community centers and provide lunch and a ride to voting centers

For one vote?
Is this an acceptable offer?
You could have started the bidding at a beer and a hot dog.

Not in a presidential election. That would take a lot more.

Not sure why you are getting Dv'd. This is true. Campaigns have to cozy up to the person in the neighborgood that's a "vote-getter"
