I must be lucky, Spring, TX just north of Houston and my Allstate policy will increase by $165.00.

Because they lowered there standards and let anyone in. The CEO has no connection to the military.

What's the yearly and value of the home? Then you can start complaining.

If you jumped from some ridiculously low payment to market average, you need to go sit back in the corner.

FWIW, I am looking at homes in Old Mandeville and insurance may be the reason I don't buy there. I know people paying a small mortgage in just homeowner's every month. Don't get me started on flood.

Congrats.
Call a local broker.
Will take you ten minutes, and you’ll get a better price.

Shut the frick up, dude. His insurance goes up 31% in your natural conclusion is that he's been getting (for some random reason) insanely discounted pricing for years?

When did this happen? I was unaware of that.

It's a reasonable ask. Oh, and go frick yourself back Prick. Not sure when the default response around here has become "GFY" but it's tedious. Speak to me like that in person and we will see.

Several years back they started letting family relatives of Veterans join. Mine went up quite a bit in 2025. They better not do it again in 2026 or I'll be looking elsewhere.

Had State Farm for years but they didn't insure assets in Guam so I switched to USAA back then and when I came back to the states USAA had the best deal anyway.

Ours is going up next year too. I don't remember the %.

We are paying like 17k/yr in my household with a teenaged driver for various types of insurance. It sucks.

not in Louisiana. I had multiple brokers tell me they weren't writing new policies and to call USAA for homeowners. I did. They were cheaper than Farm Bureau by $2K.

They did the same to me. Been with them 27 years. One roof claim (14 years ago) in that timeframe.

No, it's a unreasonable assumption you made. Because you're stupid. And stupid people do stupid things like capitalize common nouns.

Oh, we got a tough guy here. You don't know a thing about me. And you don't know a thing about the OP or his situation so put away your jump to conclusions mat.

I thought is was just wives and children of people who were members. That is a far cry from "everyone".

May be a bit wider than that now.

When it was originally founded only officers could join.

I've had it for more than 20 yrs.
