I'll be the first to admit that Trump's claim to be able to get peace or a ceasefire on day 1 was f**king stupid. In fact I said so last year during the campaign. However Trump is still working towards peace. He has just realized that the only way to get peace is by making Russia uncomfortable.

The only thing Trump can be faulted for on this deal is maybe underestimating how much of a POS dictator Putin is.
You have a POS Nazi dictator on one side, and a POS Communist dictator on the other side. Neither one cares much for American individualism and capitalism unless it can enrich them personally, and neither gives a rats arse about peace.
The world would be better off if both were thrown off a cliff tomorrow.
