The Green Wave have strung a couple of nice seasons together.

Do you think that it is safe to say at present moment that Tulane has squarely put themselves in a position to be the 2nd Best Team in LA?

Tulane
2022: 12 Wins
2023: 11 Wins
2024*: 9 Wins
2025: 8 Wins

ULL
2022: 6 Wins
2023: 6 Wins
2024*: 10 Wins
2025: 4 Wins

*Tulane beat ULL Head-to-Head in 2024.

With all this said, the debate could be completely irrelevant shortly with the job that Coach Sonny Cumbie is doing building a program at LA Tech.

They beat USC in a NY6 bowl a few seasons ago against a Heisman Trophy Quarterback.

I'm not sure why you need to ask if they're a better program than ULL.

Tulane is currently more relevant than any point in ULL history.

Speaking of Tulane, I'm going to the LSU vs Tulane wbb game tonight. Anybody familiar with how parking works at the Devlin Fieldouse/Fogelman Arena in uptown NOLA?

Parking lots? Street/neighborhood parking? Campus lot parking? Garage parking? Meter parking?

Who cares? It is NOLA. Your car will be stolen before the first half is over.

Tulane has always been more relevant than ULL. What a stupid post. Tulane is a founding member of the SEC.

I think if Tulane wins out this year they make the playoffs.

You can park at the Loyola garage.

Thanks. I assume that's Loyola U's garage? EDIT: Google AI says it's called the Loyola RecPlex Garage. I think I got it.

OP is a ULM grad/fan that rarely posts about his own depressing team. No one in Lafayette thinks the two programs (Wave/Cajuns) are on even footing.

Has ULL been under the impression that they have been #2 until this year? Why?

This makes it make more sense.

When did ULL actually really pass Tulane.

USL was clearly better in the early-mid 90s. It started in the late 80s with Brian Mitchell at QB.
