Poor Nuss looked very hurt on the sidelines jumping around, running, chest bumping players, catching passes from MVB during warm ups before series’

All of that sounds easy compared to running around a football field carrying 20 lbs of gear and getting tackled by 280 lb monsters. What the frick are you even talking about?

He’s getting paid millions of dollars and the decision was made to not dress just to not make it look like someone took his job.

Nuss is really hurting his image right now because it sure seems like—true or not—the long-term injury conversation parallels his week-to-week performance.
Play well? He’s recovered. Play poorly? It’s the injury flaring back up.
It comes across as a guy looking for excuses and if I’m a GM what I’m looking for most in a QB is mental toughness, confidence, and preparation…a leader of a team. He certainly doesn’t give off team leader vibes.

Were you expecting him to be in a wheelchair or something?

You’ll find any reason to criticize him. How about focusing on him being a supportive teammate?

Have you guys not watched the games? Nuss can't even put his hips into the ball. He has been hurt.

No I would expect him to be in the pressbox or sitting down, if this injury that happened during the week couldn’t even allow him to dress

Good because he doesn’t make the scramble play yesterday to close out game

LSU fans, we think we are the experts at everything…
Then with lack of knowledge, we tear down our own thinking we know. At some point we need passion for LSU and trust in the coaches and players vs overthinking everything

Do you know that he was the first player in the locker room post game???? (sarcasm for the IQ challenged).

So are you mad that Whit has been running around on the sidelines for the past month as well?

This injury didn’t just happen this week

I think Nuss has made a long-term business decision, opting out to heal for the Combine and Pro Days.
That’s the best way to restore to some degree his draft status.

Dude, let it go, the Nussmeier era is over and we should all just move on.
Posted on 11/16/25 at 9:09 am to cjohn1290
Would you really be shocked? He quit on the team when they needed him to play QB in the 2021 Texas Bowl. It is really time to just move past this dude. He has done very little good for this program despite being here for so long.

His career is over anyway. He won't play in the pros.
No need to pile on.

He’s not hurt and has never been hurt. The injury excuse has always been bs

Im not doctor, but that dude has the worst injured pride Ive ever seen.... honestly I think it may be career ending.

If you define “scramble” as run around in a circle with your eyes looking away from the line of scrimmage and eventually getting sacked 15-20 yards behind the line, then yes. I agree with you.
