If LSU plays MVB instead of a “hurt” Nuss how many games do we win?

Biggest what-if this season. Man, we’ll never know.

We’re 6-4. Probably doesn’t change much. Maybe, 7-3 right now.

Still don’t beat Bama or A&M. Ole Miss and Vandy are possibilities for different outcomes.

lol we beat a 2-7 team by one at home with two turnovers and a goal line stop.

MVB was fine but nothing indicated we win any of our losses with him starting

We'd easily be undefeated and on our way to a championship.

Bama did everything they could to give us that game. I think we could have taken it.

MVB has more experience if he starts earlier.

With TEMU we were winning at the half.

We’re 9-1 if we have MVB from the beginning of camp and build the team around him.

Oh wait, same offensive line? Nvm.

7-3 maybe. OLine killed us.

We absolutely could have beaten Bama with MVB starting with the way the defense played.

Probably beat Ole Miss too.

Yeah this squad has deep issues on a personnel level. It would take an elite dual QB to make it look different. And you can't make sweeping schematic changes this late in the season.

Beating the worst Defense in the SEC and scoring 23 points is wild.

The only thing hurt on Nuss this week was his feelings.

yeah, going with MVB wouldn't have changed a shite ton this season... still have at least 2 losses, likely three, possibly still at 6-4, with him vs. Nuss...

i think the biggest issue is that everyone pretty felt like we were going to be fine with Nuss at QB, being he showed a lot of promise last season, he is a 5th year senior, he was getting national accolade hype, etc.... and then he came out and looked like he's looked... and it was opposite of what we were expecting, and it wasn't just a one or two game fluke, he legit has regressed, or last year was just fool's gold, not sure, but b/c it was so unexpected that we all wanted to just move on to someone else who may give us a better chance...

personally, i wouldn't be surprised if Nuss has played his last game for LSU already, and rather than "opting out" and leaving the program to prepare for the draft, they'll use the injury excuse to keep him out while he sits out the rest of the season....

I wish we could have seen MVB in the read option, but with Hurley leaving and no backup, I understand that decision.

Something is wrong with Nussmeier and only 10 percent is physical.

I mostly agree with you, but I think we lose today’s game with Nuss. Those 2 huge plays in the 4th quarter Nuss isn’t capable of that. Just physically and mentally can’t do that.
