I’ve never heard of another player getting a bone bruise basically out 3/4 of a season I l
I think about like if you hit your shin on the hitch of the back of your truck I’ve done that before and I thought I was gonna die, if you’ve done that then you know exactly what I’m talking about and how bad it freaking hurts
but it went away after a couple weeks. I played football too. I can’t imagine outside of a break of a bruise that would be any worse or hurt any worse than that did I don’t know.

I don’t get it that injury or is there something else going on? Is he not wanna play anymore?

It’s just like when things go bad they go bad all the way around you don’t ever hear of injuries like that on other teams especially if they’re in the contention of playoffs or SEC championships I don’t know this sucks

This iteration of the LSU Tigers has not revealed anything about injuries past what is required.

And if he didn't want to play anymore as a precautionary measure, I wouldn't blame him.

He is Luke Kuechly 2.0. He has a lot more to play for and making sure he recovers for both next season as well as his future NFL career is more important than beating Arkansas, WKU, and Oklahoma.

He hasn't missed 3/4 of the season over this injury, so your premise is incorrect.

I don't know what the deal is with Weeks, but I've not seen anything from him to suggest he's anything other than a gamer.

That said, this is the new era and probably with occasional exceptions, players are no longer playing for the name on the side of their helmet. They are absolutely playing for the name on the back of their jersey.

He wants to play, but because of an injury he can’t. Why the hate?

Evert year people on the rant make threads like this completely unable to comprehend someone's injury. Why can't yall just accept that maybe you aren't medical experts

He has two brothers on the team, like biological blood brothers not just a brotherhood built on sweat and tears. He's said over and over that he's most excited for a chance to play with them. One of them is a senior with no eligibility remaining for next year.

Yes, he still wants to play.

Can you imagine Lawrence Taylor sitting out for a bone bruise? Sadly this new generation is just soft in general.

Lawrence Taylor wasn’t feeling any pain.

Are you suggesting this new generation coke tf up?

Does Whit seriously strike you as a player that isn’t dying to get back on the field?

At one point someone on here said they knew someone close to situation who said it was a fracture.

One question is how honest was Kelly with Weeks injury. Sounds like he might have actually broken/fractured his ankle.

I now remember why I dont read the scoreboard before a game. This constant ignorance is unbearable.

You just gonna ignore that this injury may be related to a dislocated ankle less than 12 months ago?

He compared Weeks injury to hitting his shin on a truck hitch. Are you really questioning his medical expertise?
