Do you really want to see a 74 year old Saban on the sidelines?

Yes, but it’s not happening.

I watched a near 65 year old on the sideline for near 4 years, I can stomach watching a 74 year old do it better than he did

It’s remote and I don’t think anyone really believes it will happen. It’s more of nostalgia for the greatest college football coach in history.

fans of literally any team would say yes. Including alabama fans, theyd take him back in a second over Kalen (what a gay name).

Absolutely not. The game is vastly different now. Saban is only good with an edge.

Do I want the best coach in CFB returning to restore order here? Yes.

Will it happen? Probably not

Saban ain’t Kelly, if he wants the job he’d be all in.

Whenever that 74 year old coach is the greatest coach in the history of CFB, of course I want him.

The fact that you don't want him makes me think having him would be an even better idea, considering you are constantly one of the dumbest posters this board has ever seen.

Nope. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I think DeBoer is or will ever be the equal of Saban. But Saban is retired. He had his time and I'm thankful for it, but it's over. It's time for the next era of Bama football, whether that be under DeBoer (hopefully) or someone else if he ends up failing.

LSU fans only want Saban because they think it would give them some kind of "gotcha!" over Bama fans, which is frankly ridiculous.

I would want him back, but with my luck, it would end up like Schnellenburger at Oklahoma. (IYKYK)
I just wonder what his drive would be. If it would be the same. He walked away on top.

Cannot speak for other Tiger fans. Because of the 12 team playoff, some targets might not be available until late. What a Saban or Stoops or Urban would do, is immediately hush the screamin knotheads and provide some immediate stability.

Not to mention he’d know a lot of Alabama’s weaknesses.

Yes, we are going to suck either way, so let's watch this go down for the fun of it.
