On that one play, where he managed to get of the defenders grasp and get out of the pocket, I said it too.

Allen is maybe the most optimistic comp as far as a tall, big-armed, relatively athletic pocket passer who never really managed to produce in college at the level you would expect based on their talent and nfl draft hype.

I actually saw young Roethlisberger
Josh Allen is a bully running. Roethlisberger was just big.

I think he reminds me more of a Herbert as opposed to Allen if we’re comparing him to the really big current guys.

Strong as a horse, though. I remember him completing a pass with a defender literally hanging on him, and he didn't go down after the throw.

Shough just looks like a QB. Means nothing if he doesn’t perform but he has the look.

I thought this yesterday to myself. His ability to look upfield while avoiding pressure was elite yesterday

I'm going with young Joe Flacco given the similar build and arm strength

He doesn’t look lost and he looks the part. I think the states might have stumbled on a keeper. The moment didn’t look too big for him.

I see more Love/daniel jones
Allen and Herbert have 20 lbs on Shough and are still more athletic. True freaks

Shough is the love child of Kirk cousins and Justin Herbert

Bobby Hebert was talking about what Seux, was able to do on 3rd down. His 2 touchdowns came on 3rd down and he went 7 for 10 on 3rd down.
That is impressive.
Seaux is lanky, dont know who I would compare him too.
He doesnt have the beef as Allen does. I would say Lamar Jackson, without that elite speed but a more accurate ball.

The way he moved in the pocket reminded me of Steve Young. Young had a way to maneuver around like that and still throw the ball. There’s a difference between a scrambling QB and one that is incredibly deft in the pocket. Young was both of those, but Shough was the latter. Just the way he moved and then threw with that incredible zip on the ball was bringing me back to my childhood.

I see more Alex Smith, and I'll take it

after two starts in the NFL, one against a possible Super Bowl team and the other against a fellow mediocre NFC South team I don't know who you compare him to.
He's no Josh Freeman though.

To be fair, we were forced to watch Rattler lead us for 14 games. Excuse us for thinking Shough is the second coming.
We are healing.
