People's hate of AI now is the same how people hated cameras or the phone

Just typical of emerging technology and fear of it.
AI is a tool and if you don't get used to it you will be left in the past.
When the camera was invented people claimed it would steal your soul or make people detach from society.
When the phone was invented they claimed it would ruin the need to travel or send letters.
So you can either keep being an idiot or realize AI is a new tool of technology and learn how to use it.

AI is an awesome creation.

When cameras were created, the people building and designing could explain exactly how they function.
When phone were created, the people building and designing could explain exactly how they function.
There are a lot of people building LLMs that have no idea how they do what they do. And we’re not even talking about generalized AI at this point.
The concern is warranted.

I’m not that afraid of an index maker.
I’m also not going to go gaga for video photoshop. If you can photoshop one image it follows you can concatenate them and dub some sound. George Lucas should be pissed because he has been doing this way ahead of these other schmucks.

Plenty of things in this world that vast majority of humans have no idea how it works and they aren’t worried about.

Cameras and phones had no capacity to learn and f up shite. That said, I definitely still hate what both phones and cameras have become.

The real problem was opening up a connected network to the public (Internet). AI (not real) is the next step.
