I was at the game in the upper decks. Everytime i stood up to cheer, the gump behind me poured his drink in my seat.

I still don't know how it's possible to review that and get it wrong other than you are in on it

I'm getting ready to travel to Gump Land from Georgia today. Thanks for the reminder of why I'm going. Strangely enough, we do better there against the Gumps than we do at home.

Folks still fussing about this like it lost the game.

LSU would have still had to score, which they couldn't do.

I think there’s a larger point being illustrated…

If the AL player - who was standing OOB - touched the ball before PP had control, would that make it incomplete?
I was at the game and have been trying to figure this out for years (thankfully, usually only once per year).
Thoughts?

C’mon guys, everyone knows you have to have 3 feet in bounds in Alabama.

Second worst call I've ever seen.

Or should I say officiating... The worst was technically a "no call"

Patrick Peterson is actually scheduled to be at Wrong Iron in Nola tomorrow before the game. I should print out a picture of this play and get him to sign it.

If I remember correctly, at the time the replay officials did not have HD technology although the broadcast did. Ridiculous.

This was one of the first examples of the power of the Tiger Rant and other associated forums.

There was a "guest" replay official aptly named Dick Burleson who was a retired SEC official. Mr. Burleson is the official if you recall in the 1989 Florida game took it upon himself to add :01 to the clock to enable the Gators to kick the winning field goal.

Here's where that got dicey.Honestly being at the game it was so bang bang at first glance so the initial call is somewhat understandable. But we've all seen the replay and its unforgivable it wasn't over turned. The Monday following the game some folks here did some research about ol' Dick. Turns out Dick had a webpage where he is open to speaking engagments and such and had a standing engagement at the University of Alabama's Red Elephant Club each week. How could the SEC allow such a thing??

Oh,BTW, Dick's website shut down that day.
