Thomas and Mackinnon at the PG and SG both look really really good. And we have a lot of good big men. We’ll be able to figure out in the next 4 weeks who that other wing player will be and if someone does separate themselves successfully, we’ll be competitive in the SEC this year. Not saying we finish top 8, but we’ll give it a go.
I wish we had Cam Carter back for one more year.

Mackinnon looked great tonight. Question mark with him is if he can hold his own defensively with his frame when SEC play begins.

It's an utter shame we didn't put him in a position to make another NCAAT run. Truly an All-Sec caliber player at a competent program.

Dedan Thomas is clearly the guy McMahon has finally needed. A true passing point guard who can score the ball when he needs. McKinnon is the spot up shooter and more like a 3rd/4th option behind the big men of reed and rob who looked great tonight.
